Legislators, judges and state elected officials are asked to submit an annual financial disclosure form with the following personal and spousal information:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Personal annual income over $20,000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Investments of $20,000 or more&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ownership of 5% or more or at least $50,000 in a publicly traded business&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There was a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oklahoman.com\/story\/news\/2022\/06\/13\/oklahoma-legislature-lawmaker-indictment-spurs-republican-conflicts-interest-politics-government\/9769428002\/\">heightened awareness <\/a>of potential conflicts of interest this year following the December 2021 indictment of Rep. Terry O\u2019Donnell, R-Catoosa.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An Oklahoma County grand jury stated in their indictment that O\u2019Donnell improperly sponsored legislation that allowed his wife to run a tag agency. The Oklahoma Ethics Commission provides these forms to the public upon request, but they\u2019re not hosted on any public website.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some lawmakers included in the database aren\u2019t seeking re-election or face a challenger in the upcoming election.
